HavenCon - ('hãv-en - kon) 1.A physical meeting or
convention of/for people who haven. 2.A kickass party being planned a
year in advance for haveners by haveners. see haven, havener.
So what exactly is HavenCon? HavenCon is basically a special name for a
big party that we plan to make a yearly event. The first unofficial
HavenCon was in late April '97, at the end of the weekend it was suggested
that it become a yearly event. That brings us up to date. This page is
a manifestation of the organisation of future HavenCons (and maybe
HavenFests) and to provide information concerning them to interested
parties.
Havencon '98 happened last weekend. Stay tuned for more information about the
trip and the event in the next few days.
this page is in progress, check back often for updates.

- What you are drinking
In '97 we had one Keg and kicked it not to late in the evening, most
likely we will have 2 kegs and much beer. For drinking we ask that you
either bring something to share or offer a donation to the beer fund.
Tentatively the beer will be bought by a few of us and then whatever
donations are made will be distributed amongst those. Note: HavenCon
is not a money making venture, this is just so we don't go too
broke pulling this off. Lynne will also be mixing drinks and support
for that comes from the "beer fund" money as well.
- Who else will be there
- Why you are going:
So, you're thinking about going but your not really sure if you should
or not and what to expect. If you're anti-social and look down upon
drinking and having a good time, then maybe you ought not come. If you
like a good party, are interested in meeting some groovy people then
you just might have a good time and maybe should try and make it.
- Will you have time off (from work or school)
Start saving up the vacation time from work or planning your excuse for
you professors so you'll be prepared when the time comes.
- Schedule:
Friday: Arrive/Checkin - all day... just like stop in at the
House of Sin
Saturday: 7pm - Friday night dinner. Meet at the House of Sin
