GOLDEN, COLORADO

Golden, Colorado.

I look at the picture.

A used car lot.

School of Mines sign.

And the South Table.

The long hilly road is center in the picture.

A reminder of how I experienced Colorado?

So I went camera happy!

I feel as if I belong in that picture.

I feel at home there.

The size of the mountains put me in my place.

Make me feel insignificant.

Then we travel,

Travel to Loveland Pass.

Elevation 11,990 feet -

The Continental Divide.

I am dumbstruck.

I am traveling through my pictures.

Then the last one,

Crossing the Indiana line.

A sense of heaviness stifles

My emotions of joy.
