Frustration

1988

When you can't seem to do anything right

And you feel as if you need to fight

Your bubble pops and goes away

Your enemies move in and want to stay

You've been hit, hurt, and kicked around

A solution just cannot be found

Your feelings are starting to overflow

Showing frustration can let it go.

When the world seems to be burying you

And you don't know what else to do

Maybe you want to jump off a bridge

But instead, decide to eat from the 'fridge.

Your frustration is about to blow like a valve,

What you need is a friend to act as a salve.

I'll be there for you to talk to

I'll even let you hit me, if you want to

I have frustration, just like you

But I have found a way to get through.

Trust in your friends

They can show the way

Just like God does,

They can make a sunny day.

When it's cold and stormy

And the days seem endless

Maybe you're sure you're completely friendless,

I can be there for you.

I can be something to hold onto

When everything is slipping away

And you're crying out "Mayday"

I'll be here for you to lean on,

Be mean on,

And to cry on.
